Grand'Descente on saturday starting from 2 pm, Grand'Ride on Monday a great ride for all levels and new this year a loop of 16k in the Esterel hill: Ride Relax. More than 1.500 riders will be with us with only 2 words NATURE and SPORT !

We are just officialy informed that Nice will welcome on 30, 31 of May & 1 of June France - Africa Summit. We had been informed by the government services that anti-terrorism police and other traffic plans of the delegations between airport, palaces and Acropolis center will be situated on Transvesubienne finish area. The place will be high secured and no way to get in. As the result of it we inform all people involved with the Transvesubienne that the finish in Nice is not possible with that conditions.
A crisis meeting will be organised early next week and we will inform you about new date.

MEGAVALANCHE SAINT PAUL REUNION ISLAND - November 28 & 29 2009 24/11: All passagers arrived for the Megavalanche week in Reunion Island. Some came here to practice MTB, to discove wonderfull landscape, new & different spots, a ride to the Volcano of la Fournaise (48km -2300 m), a ride into the heart of Mafate Circus good MTB skills required, a great ride also for all levels to the old track of the Megavalanche St Leu. Some go for a ride to check the race track even if some changes must take place, that is the reason why the organization comittee remind to all the riders that the track will be offcially opened on Friday 27/11. First video of this wonderfull week, will be posted from tomorrow !

TRANSVESUBIENNE Veni Vedi Vici... a vintage with a very high level, an amazing race, so many famous pilots, a fierce battle, an arrival front of the sea... A victory deserved for Nino SCHURTER (Scott), without relaxation to François BAILLY-MAITRE (Scott) hangs the second place. What better to reward a rigorous practice that a third place for Vincent JULLIOT (Magazine Bike). To complete the top 5 Nicolas FILIPI 4th place and Arnaud GROSJEAN went to 5th position. You may want to know why Julien ABSALON (Orbéa) is not among top 5. He torned his tyre before Utelle, he had to run and so make more effort than the other. He was with the leaders and after a repair in la Madonne d'Utelle he started again on 52th position. At the end he finished 8th, that was great for some riders who rode with him ! Ladies results, Myriam SAUGY from Switzerland did a wonderfull race winning ladies categorie and finishing 79th overall, incredible woman ! All results are on line here

Avalanche Enduro: Kielder (UK - ENG) April 25 & 26 09 No Panic !
New tracks had been built at Kielder, UCC is going to have a look next week at Kielder in order to valid the special stages. Forestry Commission, Clive Forth and UCC agent are going to do their best to find more SS in order to re-open the entry until 300 riders.
You will be adviced on March 2nd at 3pm. If we open again the entries don't miss it !

ZONE ROUGE MEGAVALANCHE ST PAUL 29 & 30 Novembre 2008 The DH Marathon specialist had been the best today, he left behind the best top riders of the MTB Planet! Rémy ABSALON (Commencal) came first today to the Megavalanche Zone de Saint Paul Reunion Island. He has made the perfect run. Took a good start, and took the lead of the race straight after. Fabien BAREL (Subaru MTB Pro Team) came 2nd place though his fork was completly bloqued down. Even Rene WILDHABER (SCOTT) recorman of Megavalanche Victories couldn't follow Remy. He took 3rd place. Nino SCHURTER (Swiss power)did a very good race for his first time racing the Down Hill Marathon, the Megavalanche. He took his revanche from Julien ABSALON (Orbéa) who came 5th. Ladies race hard work for the first place between Nadine SAPIN (La Roue Libre) and Elisabeth ALLIONE (Ekoiaventure) at the end Elisabeth came finally the first. All results are online Clic here . Tandem race at the end of the season for the UCC team & friends during the Roc d'Azur Couples: Cathy LABOUYRIE & Thibaut LEGASTELOIS (Winner of the Tranvésubienne 2008) - Caroline SAUNIER & Vincent HAULET (Winner of the challenge multisport assur 2008) - Olivia EDWARDS & Vincent JULLIOT - Virgine REYNAUD alias Pétale & Xavier VACHE. Week before the event and aware that we cannot make a podium ... we set up an internal challenge... it was even more motivated ! Finally the results are:
first couple Olivia & Vincent followed closed by Cathy & Thibaut then Caro & Vincent. Xavier & Virginie broke their bike so they had to give up. So great time all together ... next race for the UCC team Razorbike in Théoule it is now our MTB season ;-) ...

Masters World Championship: After a good half (2nd place) George EDWARDS unfrtunatly puncture on the last meters and finished finally 4th. Next year same place a podium for him ... we will follow it !

After the Maxiavalanche in Vallnord he found the DH Marathon really interesting and decided to go for another round ! Becareful if LOPES is going to race DH Marathon ... End of a relaxing and training week end : Afer 10 weeks of hard work for the UCC staff last week end was the opportunity to go to Auron (FR - 06)resort. George EDWARDS trained to reach a place on the podium during the Masters World Champs and fun for the rest ... A new bike resort and a maximum of fun !

First place for France with David EME, Fergus LAMB (UK) came second, Tomas MISSER representing Spain get the 3rd place, Ben MORGAN (GB) 4th and from Israel Nimrod HEMMO is 5th. You can find the results just clic here. Regarding MOM AVALANCHE Loic BRUNI did not leave any chance to the others. He went out the Minime category as it will be Cadet in 09 by the gold gate. Extrem Trans' : Looking to the bad weather of the previous weeks and to the rain still annonced untill the D day (sunday, 25th may), you can be sure that the Transvesubienne will find again its extrem face. Extrem by its track but also, this year, by the race conditions which will be muddy and sometimes snowy on the first part.
Transvesubienne 2008 is full ! Never seen on this race : 400 racers. It is not still possible to sign in.
May 17 & 18 : 2nd leg of the Saab Salomon Avalanche Trophy at Kielder in England : All riders will ride on the 7 special stages. The venue is a real play and fabulous, you will all be satisfied.

April 19 & 20 : Avalanche Cup Lyon 2008 : Avalanche Cup Lyon opens the international season of down hill. All races have been really great for all riders who were cheering all day by the crowed to go faster. All news and results online.
